The Freewheelers Motorcycle Club originated in the late 1960’s in Whitman Massachusetts. An outlaw MC with around 30 members wearing a full back patch. The patch was a motorcycle front end with a wing off one handle bar. A clubhouse on South Ave. was open from 1969 to late 1974.

In 1991 one of the original members reformed the club into a chest patch club. The patch was an eagles head with a black wheel and a red wing . With Freewheelers across the top and South Shore across the bottom. In 2000, our club went to a full back patch changing the wing to grey.  Membership has continually grown over the last few years, especially when a number of the defunct Brew Crew M/C joined. In January of 2005 the lower rocker was changed to MASS.

The Freewheelers fully support the brotherhood of club life, and the biker and civilian community around us, supporting a number of charities and worthwhile organizations in the south shore Boston area.
